Conference Funding
EMST supports students in the combined program for conference attendance as follows:
International = up to $1500, Domestic = up to $750
This is per student, per year; if there are funds leftover, you can reapply and we will try to meet your need. You must be *on the conference program* in order to get this funding.
Please fill out the form below with the following information:
(a) how much you are applying for
(b) brief description of the conference activity
(c) budget breakdown
(d) copy of the conference program and other documentation confirming you are on the program
(e) an explanation of other funding sources you have tried. We will consider requests on a rolling basis; note that this is not intended to be competitive so you can count on these basic caps. You must, however, first use any funding you can get from the GSAS and your own department so that there is a relatively level playing field for everyone in the combined degree program.
Once approved, you will receive a reply with information on how to submit receipts. Note that you may apply for funding either before the conference or after the fact, but reimbursement will take place only after the conference has taken place.
