Ilianna Vasquez
Ilianna Vásquez González is a PhD student in the Spanish and Portuguese Department and Early Modern Studies at Yale University. She is also pursuing a certificate in Ethnicity, Race, and Migration. Ilianna holds a Master’s degree in Spanish from California State University, Sacramento. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Spanish with a Minor in Anthropology from the same institution. Her work focuses on slavery and sex work in the Hispanic world during the Early Modern Period.
